Fallen Soldiers and sunsets...

Beautiful sunset today. It was nice since an hour or two later was a Fallen Soldier ceremony. Two KIAs from a recent vehicle turnover, not even related to last nights mortar attack.

mountains 'n' me

Here is a pic of me in the lab...when i worked on night shift.
...and of the mountains right outside the fenceline.
If nothing else, it is beautiful here, surrounded on all sides by mountains.

today...

...we 'earned' the title of mortarita-ville*. At least it was short lived and everyone I work with is OK since it wasnt close to us. Should know more tomorrow about any casualties. Take care.
